It is back on South African shores and I can already feel its presence. The amazing Boombox took us on a journey last year when world #1 DJ, Armin van Buuren, brought it along with him. It is only fit that a legend such as that is accompanied by what is arguably the best visualization projector ever created.

It returns this year along with Godskitchen and consistent top 10 DJs Above & Beyond, according to DJMag, for 2 explosive shows. Cape Town and Johannesburg play host to Godskitchen for a party to end off an eventful 2010.

Above & Beyond are a British trance group formed in 2000. This trio has made a huge impact in the trance scene in the last ten years and seem to continue with its influence in the dance scene. The latest poll results (voted by the public) hosted by DJMag rated the trio at #5. It’s great to see the best DJs in the world slowly but surely making the trip south to experience what we have to offer in the dance scene. Supporting acts feature: Ivan(Killer Robot); James G; Dean Fuel; Roger Goode; and James Grant.

Besides the best in uplifting trance filling your ears, the Boombox will make an appearance. It’s quite tough to explain it exactly but just imagine a great wall of visualizations that will take you on a journey, whether you had your… um… glass of Berocca before the show or not. I forgot to mention, it’s Boombox 2.0, with new visualizations as well as the projection technology being upgraded. Why not throw in a few extras like sexy dancers, laser shows, and extravagant décor.

Even if you are not a trance junkie, Godskitchen featuring Above & Beyond as well as Boombox, is an experience unrivalled by many.
