These bios warrant the need to be a lil vain and show off your better side, that being said, I'm insanely awesome! Too much? Maybe just a lil :-P I am in the social media business, an amazing workspace to be in! I love music and play a few instruments. I lean towards the experimental side of making...

The Sound of Art

No votes yet

Many designers have thrown function as the primary objective out the window, but that’s not to say that their creations are completely useless. Prominent brands will never let the quality of the sound rendered go down, but it does seem that improvement is no longer a priority. Is it about how many people look at you and notice the piece of art on your head? I hate to say it but maybe it should be like that! I’m going around the corner to look for the positive in all this showing off… lets say you officially own the sickest pair of cans to ever grace a noggin. Flaunt it! You could increase the number of people who walk out the house with their morning playlist hitting climax. As easy as starting a trend I always say. How often do you see some hipster with bright paint-on jeans, massive ‘gangster’ shoes, and glasses with no lenses, rocking a pair of sound-mounds? All too often right? Does it always have to be those people who get to enjoy their sound of art while making a statement? I say nay! We all deserve to ignore the sound of traffic whilst out and about, no matter how unsafe it is!

My top 5 mainly consists of cans with one exception of in-ear buds. The Nixon ‘Master-Blaster’ takes prime prize: smooth, simple, and sleek. Freedom of creation takes it to a new level of customization with ‘Custom Cans’. You can have your favourite lyrics moulded into the headband. “Papa loves mambo”, it is! Perfect unison brought the right amount of ‘timbre’ into the mix with the custom art designed ‘x Parra’. Fourth place goes to Kotori with their crazy range of colourful and customizable in-ear buds. Slightly childish, but damn will you look good listening to “Gummy bears: Sound of Summer mix 2010”. The Beats by Dre made the list only because their sound quality is among the best in the business, otherwise it’s design is very cool, but there's just something normal about it!

I am writing this whilst listening to a progressive Moonbeam mix on my “came-with-the-phone”, in-ear buds. Good thing the fat man with the bag of goodies is coming soon, oh wait false alarm, it’s just some guy walking out of Eastrand mall wearing a red one-piece and a moonbag.

Save me from scratchy vocals and high frequency bass!
