The word is out. Yes we know you already may know but we had to share our excitement in knowing that Top Gear presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are hitting our shores early next year. Yes all three presenters will grace South Africa in March 2011 with the Top Gear Festival.

The Top Gear Festival is set to take place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit for the first time on the 50th Anniversary of the circuit from 17 March till 20 March 2011. Top Gear Live is once again powered by BP Ultimate and has been to South Africa for the last four years.

According to the Press Release: “the 2011 South African leg promises a brand new and even more interactive experience”.

Clarkson explained as he spoke of his excitement around the new tour, “Car stunt shows used to involve standing in rain soaked concrete car parks watching men in branded hats driving round in circles, but Top Gear Live continues to prove that proper theatre with cars is possible and yet again, we’ve pushed the boundaries of car theatre for this tour.”

Next years festival is set to be bigger and better then before with more crazy modified cars, pyros and noise to deafen any enthusiast.
