Recently we caught wind of the now popular Puma phone, a Sagem and Puma partnership. Now Lamborghini has created its very own Lamborghini branded phone called the Spyder. Perhaps Mini will see this as an opportunity for a brand extension too?
Positioned as the phone for the active Puma enthusiast, it boasts a number of unique features - the strangest of which the sarcastic calculator which dismisses your trivial requests, a pet Puma Dylan, a turntable which you can scratch and the solar panel back-panel. "It's quoted at a respectable 15 minutes of talk time or two hours of music playback for every hour in the sun, meaning you should theoretically be able to charge the phone even while blasting tunes (of course, the proof is in the pudding when it comes to battery claims, as always)."

"The Lamborghini Spyder has a 3-megapixel camera, 4GB of data storage, a 316L-grade stainless steel casing and the option for a crocodile skin back. If you must get your hands on a Lamborghini, this just might be the cheapest way to do it. Check out the Lamborghini Spyder above.
Out now in Hong Kong, the Tonino Lamborghini Spyder Series of handsets feature a 2.2-inch display, 3 megapixel camera, 4GB internal storage, 316L-grade stainless steel casing, and -- if you shell out a little extra -- a crocodile skin back. Sort of makes Vertu look reasonable in comparison, eh? No, we suppose not. Prices start at HK $13,800 (that's about $1,781 here in the states) and climb upward fairly quickly. Get a closer look after the break."
